01Overview

Balloon Pop Adventure ("the App", "we", "us") is a single-player arcade game. This policy describes our data practices for the App, and is written to satisfy the disclosure requirements of the Google Play Console Data Safety section and Apple's App Privacy details, as well as applicable laws such as the GDPR, CCPA, and COPPA.

The short version: the App does not require an account, does not connect to the internet to function, and does not collect personal information. Everything you see — your score, coins, achievements, and settings — is saved directly on your device.

02Data we collect

The App stores the following information locally on your device only, using Android/iOS local storage (SharedPreferences). None of it is transmitted to us or to any server.

CategoryExamplesLeaves the device?
Gameplay progress High score, coins, level/XP, session statistics, unlocked achievements Never
App preferences Dark/light mode, music/sound/vibration toggles, graphics quality, selected skin Never
Profile Display name and avatar you choose inside the App Never
Purchases (in-app currency) Coin balance and powerup inventory earned through play Never
Nothing here identifies you as a person. The username you set is a nickname stored only on your device — we never ask for your real name, email, phone number, or any government ID, and we have no way of linking this data back to you.

03Data we do not collect

The App does not collect, request, or transmit:

  • Name, email address, phone number, or physical address
  • Precise or approximate location
  • Photos, contacts, calendar, or files from your device
  • Advertising identifiers or data used for ad targeting — the App shows no ads
  • Analytics or crash-reporting data sent to third parties
  • Payment or financial information (in-game coins are earned by playing, not purchased with real money)

Because none of this data is collected, there is nothing of this kind for us to share, sell, or lose.

04Device permissions

The App requests the minimum permissions needed to run:

PermissionWhy it's needed
Vibration Provides haptic feedback when you pop a balloon or use a powerup. Can be turned off any time in Settings → Vibration.
Storage (local app storage only) Saves your progress on-device via SharedPreferences so it's there next time you open the App.

The App does not request camera, microphone, contacts, location, or internet-based tracking permissions.

05How data is stored

All data lives in your device's local application storage sandbox, which is only accessible to the App itself (or to you, if you clear app data through your device settings). It is not backed up to our servers because we don't operate any servers that the App talks to.

If your device's operating system backs up app data to your personal cloud account (for example, Android's built-in device backup or iOS's iCloud device backup), that backup is managed entirely by Google or Apple under their own privacy policies — we have no visibility into or access to it.

06Sharing & third parties

We do not share, sell, rent, or trade any App data with third parties, advertisers, or data brokers, for the simple reason that we do not collect any data to share in the first place.

The App does not currently integrate any third-party SDKs for advertising, analytics, or social sharing. If that ever changes in a future update, this policy will be updated in advance to name the service and explain what it does — see Changes to this policy.

07Children's privacy

Balloon Pop Adventure includes a "Kids Mode" designed to be gentle and family-friendly, but the App as a whole is intended for a general audience and is not directed exclusively at children under 13.

Consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Google Play's Families policies, the App:

  • Does not require registration, sign-in, or a real name to play
  • Does not collect personal information from any user, including children
  • Contains no third-party advertising or behavioral tracking of any kind
  • Does not include external links, social features, or in-app messaging

If you believe a child has provided us with information that shouldn't have been shared, please contact us — though as noted above, our architecture means we have no data collection channel through which this could occur.

08Your choices & rights

Because your data stays on your device, you are already in full control of it:

  • View it: Everything the App stores is visible in-app under Profile, Statistics, and Settings.
  • Change it: Update your display name, avatar, or preferences any time in Profile / Settings.
  • Delete it: Use Settings → Reset Progress to erase all coins, scores, achievements, and settings, or uninstall the App to remove all associated local data from your device entirely.
  • Export it: Since no account or cloud sync exists, there is no server-side copy to request or export — the on-device data described above is the only copy that exists.

Users in jurisdictions with statutory rights (such as GDPR's rights to access, rectify, or erase, or CCPA's right to know and delete) can exercise all of these directly through the in-app controls described above, since we hold no separate copy of your data to act on.

09Data security

Your data is protected by the security sandboxing built into Android and iOS, which prevents other apps from reading the App's local storage. Because the App has no server, login, or network sync component, there is no transmission of your data over the internet that could be intercepted, and no remote database that could be breached.

10Retention & deletion

Data is retained locally for as long as the App remains installed, or until you use Reset Progress. Uninstalling the App removes its local storage directory, including all saved progress, in accordance with normal Android/iOS behavior.

11Changes to this policy

If we update this policy — for example, if a future version of the App adds cloud save, ads, or analytics — we will revise the "Effective date" above and, for material changes, surface an in-app notice describing what changed before the new version reaches you. We encourage you to review this page occasionally.

Before publishing: replace the bracketed placeholders above with your real developer name, support email, and (if your Play Console account type requires it) a physical business address.
